UN BEL PANORAMA LUNGO IL PERCORSO
Giunti sulla radura ci rendiamo conto del movimento franoso che ha interessato questo punto della montagna in un passato non troppo remoto. Questo scivolamento della terra ha tolto la vegetazione di alto fusto dalle pendici del monte, così è venuta a crearsi una grande finestra panoramica verso ovest. Dalla radura abbiamo quindi una bella vista sulla sottostante Vallesanta e, oltre, sulla piana di Soci e Poppi con il suo castello. La parte sinistra dell’orizzonte è costituita dal massiccio del Pratomagno. Once on the clearing we realize the landslide that affected this point of the mountain in the not too distant past. This sliding of the earth has removed the tall vegetation from the slopes of the mountain, thus creating a large panoramic window to the west. From the clearing we therefore have a beautiful view of the Vallesanta below and, beyond, of the plain of Soci and Poppi with its castle. The left side of the horizon is made up of the Pratomagno massif.
