THE PIEVE OF SAN PIETRO IN CASCIA, IN VALDARNO
The Renaissance style loggia located in front of this church masks a little the original Romanesque architecture of the Parish Church of San Pietro in Cascia, near Reggello. Its construction dates back to the first half of the 12th century and, according to tradition, it was built thanks to a large bequest from the Countess of Canossa.
