A MOUNTAIN OF MANY COLOURS
The Casentino valley adjoins the Appennine ridge on one side and the big Pratomagno range on the other. This is a mountain of enlongated shape with twenty kilometres of grassy crest from where, from any spot of it, you can overlook Casentino and Valdarno. A big cross placed at 1592 metres of height is the symbol of Pratomagno, which is incredibly variable even over a span of one single day.
