A PARISH CHURCH NEAR A FORDING
The San Martino parish church at Vado, at the entrance to the town of Strada in Casentino. The construction of this Romanesque parish church dates back to the 12th century. Over the centuries it has undergone many renovations, but among the great parish churches of Casentino it's the only one that has kept almost the same shape and dimension of the original ones. For a detailed description of the church, its capitals and the artwork inside, visit this section.
