IN FRONT OF LA VERNA
The territory of Chiusi della Verna is very wide. It includes a vast mountainous area called Vallesanta due to the presence of the Sacred Mount of La Verna (as shown in the photo). This area is mostly impervious, therefore fascinating. Here are several villages and many small groups of houses that for many centuries have used wood felling, farming and a poor agriculture for their subsistence.
