A CASTLE ALONG THE ARNO
In Subbiano, there is a large castle located along the Arno. It is almost unknown to non-locals or people not living in the surrounding areas. There is little and unclear information about this impressive construction. From various documents it seems we can reasonably deduce it was built in the first decades of the 11th century.
